What human foods can dogs eat and not eat? This is a quick and healthy dog cake recipe that you can whip up in the microwave.
You need...
• 2 cups of flour (any type)
• 2 tins of tuna
• 2 eggs
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
Spoon into a mould or shape on a flat plate- the mixture should be firm and will hold shape well!
Place in the microwave for approx. 6 mins or until the mixture is not sticky anymore. Leave to cool.
If using a mould, turn the cake out onto a plate. Then decorate with dog friendly fruit (e.g. strawberries, blueberries, bananas) or a little cream cheese!
Sing happy birthday and let your dog to tuck in!
This recipe is also great for making home-made treats, just chop up the “cake” into suitable sized chunks. It will keep in the fridge for a few days, or you can freeze for later.
While we all love giving our dogs extra treats, especially around Christmas and birthdays, make sure they don’t overdo it and be especially careful if they’re not used to a varied diet. Reduce their meal size to account for the extra calories of treats too.
I love having treats and snacks with you! I’ll need your help to make sure the snacks I do have aren’t just delicious but are good for me too!
Need dog cake ingredients? Add two eggs, two tins of tuna and two cups of flour to your shopping list!
If your dog has had too many snacks today you can slightly reduce their meal portions to keep their calories balanced.
Fruit and veg can be a nutritious and delicious treat for dogs! Be sure to check which ones are safe for your breed.

My dog ate chocolate, what should I do?I was struggling with my dog's anxiety, especially when we had to leave the house. Thanks to Woodgreen's advice, I've made some changes that have worked wonders. By sticking to a consistent routine, my dog knows what to expect each day, which has significantly reduced her anxiety.
This advice really helped me and my new pup! I tried teaching recall without your guidance and struggled. Woodgreen's step-by-step dog training videos break each action down for you and I'm happy to say we finally made progress!
